About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Charge Nurse for a 13-week contract position. This role involves overseeing patient care in the cardiac telemetry 33-bed unit; floating is also required while ensuring high standards of nursing practice and patient safety.
Night Shift; 7:00 PM-7:30 AM; overtime can be picked up if available
Travel pay package:
Weekly Gross: $2,480.56
Weekly tax free stipend: $1,231.72
Weekly W-2 pay: $1,248.84
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (Compact State); Must have an accredited degree with the CCNE or the ACEN.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing, with charge nurse experience
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of telemetry monitoring.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1 year EPIC experience required
- Recent experience in drawing blood
About the Company

Education and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to nursing staff and new hires on telemetry protocols, best practices, and emergency procedures.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in accordance with legal and hospital guidelines.
Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about telemetry monitoring, heart health, and discharge planning.
