About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and committed Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team per diem at a skilled nursing facility in Chula Vista, CA. Shifts:
AM: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
PM: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Nocturnal: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Requirements
Current Nursing Assistant Certificate issued by the State of California in order to
perform services in the State of California
Minimum of six (6) months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution
Clinical competencies must be current and provided to the Home prior to the staff being assigned
Minimum of 6 months of experience working with an electronic medical records system
Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
About the Company
Provide care and tend to the physical needs of the patients according to the patient care plan
Perform and document rounds of patient receiving care and report changes in patient condition to the Nurse
Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing
Complete all required documentation of patient care, provide written and/or oral reports
Clean, maintain, and check equipment
Document care provided in accordance with Minimum Dataset (MDS) standards
Escort residents to appointments as need via available CalVet bus transportation or by walking to appointments that are within the facility or nearby
